Students:  The LMC will be open until 6:00 pm.  The library will be closing at 4 pm on Fridays for the rest of February.

Students: A representative from the U.S. Marines will be in the commons during lunch hour today.

Students: This a reminder that the YRBS survey will take place on February 8 during FLEX.  If you or your parents have decided to opt out of the survey please return the form to the main office by February 6.

Students: The Wisconsin Labor History Society is sponsoring an Essay Contest for students grades 9-12. You could win a cash prize of up to $500. Please stop in Student Services for information. The deadline is February 15.

Attention all members of the Forensics Team: This is a reminder that your first competition is next Mondy, Feb. 6. Please sign up with Mr. Gander or Mrs. Desterheft this week to review and practice your entries.

Next week is FBLA week, there will be a chapter meeting on Thursday during lunch and flex. Monday is member appreciation day, all members should stop by Mrs. Tate’s room for a treat!

Students:  The City of Oconto Falls is seeking employees for various positions this summer including Swim Instructor, Seasonal Lifeguards, Beach Supervisor, and Head Lifeguard.  Information is available in Student Services and the main office.  Please stop in if you are interested.

The Black Cat Closet is available for ALL Oconto Falls High School students to shop at and the BEST part is, it is FREE!!   The Black Cat Closet is asking for donations of clean gently used clothing, shoes, or belts for all genders and sizes. We are starting out small, but hoping to grow! Check out the NEW Black Cat Closet!! Located in Ms.Omer’s room at 118. The Black Cat is open before school, at lunch, and after school…   THE BLACK CAT CLOSET IS NOW OPEN  🙂

Congratulations to the Varsity Cheer team for placing 1st in Game Day, 1st in Cheer Dance, and being named Session Champions at the Titletown National Championships which was held at the KI Convention center on Saturday.

This past Saturday, the Dance Team competed at WACPC Regionals. For the first time in five years, the team advanced to the State Championship in both D3 Hip Hop and D5 Pom. These athletes will be representing Oconto Falls this Friday at the LaCrosse Center. Dancers, good luck this weekend, and congratulations!

Congratulations to our students for their dedication and involvement in FFA Leadership Development Events at Gillett High School this week.  Matthew Kesler competed in Employment Skills, Natalie Rieth and Megan Kesler in Creed speaking, and on the Parliamentary Procedure team were Destiny Vandevoort, Lilli Holley, Cheyenne Flynn, and Isabelle Blazek. Advancing to Sectional competition is the Parli Team for earning 2nd place Natalie Rieth with her first place performance! Congratulations and good luck at Sectionals!
