A note from the LMC:  If you checked out books for the summer, please return those as soon as possible.

 

Hey students!!! FFA membership is open. New students can scan the QR Code on the posters hung around school to fill out the application. Returning students click on the ORANGE button in the FFA Dashboard through your Schoology Group to complete the form. Remember, $25 dues are due to Mr. Taylor A.S.A.P. Membership closes on March 1, 2023.

 

Attention juniors if you were interested in being a class Officer there are nomination forms outside of Mrs. Omer’s Room118 and outside Mrs. Desterheft’s Room 130 does need to be filled out and completed by next Wednesday, September 7. They can be returned to Miss Omer or Mrs. Desterheft.

 

Students:  There are extra student agendas available in the main office free of charge.  Please stop in and pick one up today.  Start off the new school year organized.

 

Students:  Homecoming guest pass applications are available in the main office.  A reminder that guests may not be older than 19 years of age.  All guests must have a photo ID with them.  Applications are due September 21.

 

Jazz Choir auditions will be Tuesday, September 13th during 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 8th hour as well as after-school. Sign up is in the music hallway.  Please see Mrs. Jadin for more details.

Seniors – Homecoming Court Nomination forms are now available in Mr. Tenpas’s and Mrs. Banike’s rooms. If you wish to be included on the ballot for Homecoming Court you must fill out the form, meet all stated requirements, and turn in the form to Mr. Tenpas or Mrs. Banike by the end of the school day on Wednesday, September 7th.”

There will be a mandatory boy’s basketball meeting from 1:30-2:30pm on Thursday after school.

 

Attention Hi-Q members- We will be watching another Shakespeare film on Thursday, at 1:18 after school. Everyone must be there!

 

If you lost a ring or necklace please stop in Student Services.

Attention FFA Members, there will be a meeting today during lunch. Please bring your food and a cell phone to the meeting.

Seniors:  Scholarship # 75, 74 and 69 are in Student Services.

The LMC will be open until 6:00pm.

 

All underclassmen are reminded to get their yearbook order forms into Mr. Gander in room 120 by this Friday, Oct. 20, for the chance at winning $50.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

 

All boys interested in play basketball, there will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, October 25thduring lunch in the Field House.  Bring your lunch and a pen.

 

Any student interested in joining Destination Imagination (DI) there will be a meeting at lunch today in Room 200.   Please bring your lunch.

Attention FFA members: On Monday, October 30, after school, we will be painting and carving pumpkins, please sign up outside Mr. Taylor’s door. By Wednesday, any FFA members wanting to attend the 212 and 360 national FFA conference in Green Bay need to turn in their permission forms and money to Mr. Taylor by the end of the day.

Students:  Mills Fleet Farm is currently hiring full time, part time and seasonal positions.  Please see information on Student Services bulletin board or stop in for flyer.

Students:  NWTC is inviting you to their Transportation Center Open House on Monday, October 23, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.  You can tour the new center and learn about careers in the transportation industry and talk to the instructors.  Look for the poster by Student Services.

 

A quick reminder that Art Club pizzas will be delivered Friday at 3pm.

 

Seniors: The Hagan Scholarship Foundation scholarship information is available

in Student Services.  Student must have a 3.5 GPA, scored a 23 or higher on the ACT.  Two-thirds of all finalists are awarded scholarships.  Stop in Student Services.
