Students:  The LMC will be open until 6:00 pm today.  The library will close at 4 pm on Fridays for the rest of February.

Attention FFA members, we are handing out popcorn today, which is being made fresh this morning and will arrive in the Ag room after 10 am.   Tomorrow, our service project is for Kingdom Come Food Pantry. Please bring your can food and dry goods to homerooms, the homeroom with the most items by grade level will receive a pizza party.   Tomorrow’s dress-up theme is “Western Wear”

Students:  A reminder that cases must be on Chromebooks at all times.  There is no exception to this policy.  Please see Mr. Smith or Mr. Moore with any questions.  

There is a sign-up sheet in the main office for any student interested in softball.  Please sign up by Tuesday, February 28.  

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from Northern Michigan University will be in the LMC on Tuesday, February 21 at 12:30. If interested please sign up in Student Services.

Tuesday, February 21, representatives from Riesterer and Schnell will be in the Ag room to showcase careers and jobs within their company. If you like mechanics, small equipment, large farm equipment, tractors, compact tractors, and lawnmowers, please request to be in Mr. Taylor’s FLEX period to experience the opportunities that Reisterer and Schnell have to offer!

All seniors (except those in Link Crew) will report during FLEX period today to the PAC for a safety presentation by Mr. Smith and Officer Kuhn.

Congratulations to the Varsity Panther Cheerleaders who qualified for state at the WACPC Regionals this weekend for Game Day and Cheer Dance!  Go Panthers!

Congratulations to our Panther Wrestlers!  We have three OFHS Wrestlers going to the WIAA State Tournament next weekend.  Congratulations to Garrett Ganter, Cole Bozile, and Taylor Whiting!

HAPPY FFA WEEK EVERYONE! Today’s dress-up theme is “Merica”, in honor of our country and first president, George Washington. Tomorrow is Moo or Cow Print Day. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed some free cheese, sponsored by the FFA and Oconto County Dairy Promotions. Tomorrow FFA members and staff will be treated to some famous popcorn made in Oconto Falls! Get your milk Mustache Photos during lunch today, to show your support for Oconto County Dairy Farmers. Check out our posters for other activities and things happening this week. Friday is the last day any student can join FFA, please talk to Mr. Taylor if you are interested in becoming a member of this great organization!

With the help of Bellin Health and donations received from our school staff and community, our high school received a supply of hygiene supplies to hand out to any students that may be in need.   Students, if you are in need of hygiene supplies; such as deodorant, shampoo, body wash, Toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, or sanitary supplies, please speak to one of our office secretaries, guidance counselors, or school nurses.  School staff will discreetly hand out these items to students who request them.

Congratulations to the students who competed at FBLA this past weekend at Regionals. There are 14 students that qualified for the STATE Leadership Conference. Great job to all competitors.  

Last night the Oconto Falls Forensics team competed in their conference meet in Marinette. In Farrago placing 2nd was Ireland Payette. Placing 2nd in Moments in History was Aria Slade. In Play acting earning 2nd place Sophia Collar, Alaina Blaser, and Sydney Wierzba. In poetry Riley Stapleton earned a 2nd, earning a 1st in poetry Stephanie Vasquez Contreras. In Public address earning a 2nd was Allyna Timm and coming home with a first-place finish was Fernanda Gonzalez. For the first time in many years, the Oconto Falls Forensics Team placed 2nd overall.  Way to go!!

Students: This a reminder that the YRBS survey will take place on February 8 during FLEX.  If you or your parents have decided to opt out of the survey please return the form to the main office as soon as possible.

Students: The Wisconsin Labor History Society is sponsoring an Essay Contest for students grades 9-12. You could win a cash prize of up to $500. Please stop in Student Services for information. The deadline is February 15.

There will be an FBLA chapter meeting on Thursday during lunch and flex. Monday is member appreciation day, all members should stop by Mrs. Tate’s room for a treat!
